Monte-Angel Richardson is a graduate student at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Her primary academic ambitions are research that combine the professions of psychology and social work to study collective responses to trauma in rural communities. She is a global social worker with experience researching internationally in Latin America and Japan. Richardson is also a student representative for the School of Social Work’s Office of Global Activities.
