Research Assistant

Kaitie Giza is a graduate student in Social Work, studying Social Policy and Evaluation with a concentration in Children and Youth. Giza is passionate about using data to inform socially-just policies and practices, and leveraging research to provide impetus for social change. Before coming to Michigan, Giza worked with children in an array of capacities, most recently as a case manager who coordinated services and advocated for the rights of children with mental and intellectual disabilities.
