Youth Advisory Board Manager

Zainab Farhat is a graduate student in Public Health and Social Work at the U-M. Farhat most recently served as a Site Director for a nonprofit in Chicago, working closely with high school youth to close the achievement gap and reduce recidivism. Farhat is keenly interested in systems-level approaches to solving complex social problems such as the school-to-prison pipeline, and leveraging data as a tool for social change.
